Beyoncé made history at the 67th Grammy Awards by becoming the first Black woman to win Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter. With 11 nominations, including four in country music categories, she took home the award amidst a standing ovation. In her emotional acceptance speech, Beyoncé thanked God and encouraged artists to pursue their passions despite industry barriers. Earlier in the night, she also won Best Country Duo/Group Performance, solidifying her influence and boundary-breaking impact in the music industry.
