Woman Charged For Selling Fake Toronto Taylor Swift Tickets

Police in Toronto have arrested a woman accused of defrauding nearly 30 victims of over $70,000 in a ticket scam involving Taylor Swift's concerts at the Rogers Centre. The woman, using the alias "Denise Blackhawk," allegedly offered tickets on Facebook Marketplace, but failed to deliver them as promised. Victims sent money transfers for the tickets, only to find out on the concert date that they had not been transferred. The accused, identified as Denis Tisor, faces multiple charges related to fraud and possession of property obtained by crime. She is scheduled to appear in court on January 10, 2025.
