Recordings Added To The National Registry From Amy WInehouse And Many More

The National Recording Registry has added 25 new recordings, including the original cast recording of Hamilton, the Minecraft score, and a 1970 album by Miles Davis. Other additions feature artists like Elton John, Tracy Chapman, and Mary J. Blige, as well as historic broadcasts and unique sounds like the Microsoft Windows reboot chime. These recordings represent a diverse range of genres and cultural significance, showcasing America's rich history and artistic evolution. The oldest recording is from 1913, while the newest is the 2015 Hamilton cast album, reflecting a timeline of timeless art and cultural milestones.
