The two are reportedly set to return to the franchise. Warner Bros. reportedly wants Edward Berger (All Quiet on the Western Front) to helm the blockbuster sequel. Clooney and Pitt starred together in the trilogy of Ocean’s 11 movies helmed by Steven Soderbergh in the 2000s.  Development on a sequel is still in the early stages, but many of the trilogy’s other cast members are also expected to return, including Matt Damon and Casey Affleck.
